WELL, that was harder than I thought it would be! I am usually taking the photos, but due to the fact I'm isolating at home and don't live with any models I decided to brave the other side of the camera so I could share some outfit ideas based on my absolute favourite basic : the Tani Micromodal Turtleneck.

Please excuse my accidentally grumpy face, I swear I was smiling on the inside haha!!! It's my concentration frown.... and stay tuned for a cameo from my cheeky whippets Twiggy and Soda.

Also note that as I don't *quite* own everything in our stores yet(!)... some items are not stocked by Impulse but I will provide alternatives you can purchase from us that give the same look.

Look 1 details  : I'm wearing the Tani Turtleneck throughout, in size 10. I am usually a size 6-8 in our clothing, so this top is quite a small fit. Super stretchy though! Wearing it with the AGOLDE Sophie Skinny Crop Jeans, size 25, with my favourite Leather Jacket thrown over. I suggest the ELK Lader Leather Jacket for you!

Look 2 : V Neck Knit with the same jeans as Look 1.

Look 3 : Turtleneck + Mela Purdie Tie Pant in Microprene, size 8 (I love these pants so much I also own them in white, you'll see those in another look... )

Look 4 : Look 3 + Mela Purdie Verandah T Maché in Raffia, I wear a size 6 (Raffia is unavailable but we have several other amazing colours, I am thinking I need it in white as well...). Note how you can dress this look up with just a change of accessories and hair style!

Look 5 : Look 4 + my 4 year old Mela Purdie Crepe Bolero.. I suggest the Mela Purdie D.B. Blazer in Crepe as an alternative

Look 6 : Swapped my black Mela Purdie Tie Pant for White, topped with that leather jacket from earlier.

Look 7 : Look 6 + added the Ena Pelly Zebra Cuffed Shirt in Silk, which I ADORE. I wear it open as a light jacket or buttoned as a shirt. I love to layer this turtleneck under soft shirts to take them through winter. Popped my trusty leather jacket on over this look too.

Look 8: Look 7, but changed the pants to the AGoldE Sophie Skinny jean in black. These are 3 years old and still as black as when I bought them, I love them. My boots are from ZOMP shoes.

Snug this outfit up with a big fluffy coat and beanie!

Look 9 : Look 8, but swapped my zebra shirt for the Mela Purdie Soft Pocket Shirt in white, I wear a size 8. This shirt is a staple in my wardrobe, I've had her for years now and she's still going strong!

Top that off with a Crepe Blazer and some naughty whippets... and why not add a cool hat? I love a good hat.

Look 10 : Changed my jeans for a soft Midi skirt and boots. Get the same look with the Ena Pelly Zebra Silk Skirt.

Then I've de-layered and added a belt for a simple and chic look with just the Turtleneck and skirt, and then a quick up-do and change the boots for sneakers and we've got a cute casual look. Don't forget trusty leather jacket...

Look 11 : ULTIMATE COMFORT Turtleneck + Track pants. Let's be honest this is pretty much what I'm wearing most days in covid-19 isolation while working from home!

Look 12 : Add that V neck knit from earlier for extra cosiness, and if heading out to walk the bratty dogs I'll add a scarf and beanie - the Adelaide Hills where I live are getting quite chillly!

THE END! What a journey... thanks for coming along! Beck x
