About Beck

Beck works behind the scenes at Impulse Boutique, supporting the team across e-commerce, marketing, and creative. She's been part of the boutique for 15 years now and has a good feel for the brand, its customers, and how the two come together.

Her role is a varied one — she pitches in where needed, offers a second opinion when it's useful, and takes the lead on many a creative project. She also has a background in photography and looks after the creative direction of the boutique's imagery, stepping behind the camera herself for editorial-style shoots from time to time.

Experience

Beck's career background is in e-commerce and digital marketing within independent fashion retail, and she has undergraduate degrees in both Visual Art (Photography) and Psychology. Since stepping back in 2024 to have a baby, she now works alongside the Impulse Boutique team in a part time capacity — helping with content, creative decisions, and marketing, and lending a hand with tasks where her experience is useful as well as implementing new features and researching ways to make our website easier to use and more fun to look at!

Her areas of experience include e-commerce, digital and email marketing, creative direction, campaign photography, and boutique retail operations.
